On Tuesday, September 15, Jackie Arthur suffered a massive stroke while in her classroom at First Baptist Church School. She initially had no movement on her right side due to a blood clot on the left side of her brain. But miracles have already occurred, and in just a few days since the stroke, she is now walking and moving her right side. Ochsner medical center has done an amazing job with her care, but she has a long road to fully recover!

Mrs. Arthur is one of FBCS's beloved 4th grade teachers and is adored by so many. These “pray for ja” bracelets will be a daily reminder to keep Mrs. Arthur and her family in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
